The Quay provides a great base just to sit back in one of the waterfront cafés and restaurants, taking in the views and watching visiting yachts and the luxurious, globally renowned Sunseeker Motor Yachts being built just across the water. Enjoy the views on a harbour cruise or set sail for the National Trust's Brownsea Island.

Whilst on the Quay a visit to the world famous Poole Pottery shop is a must, and to learn more about Poole’s fascinating history, visit Poole Museum. Poole Old Town is an exciting mix of smugglers’ passageways and elegant houses built by rich merchants in the 17th and 18th centuries.

The excitement doesn’t stop when the sun goes down…. Poole host’s events all summer long with a fantastic programme of weekday action for the whole family to enjoy. The centrepiece of Poole’s “Summertime in the South” programme with Wave 105FM is Summer Breeze offering 3 months of Thursday evening fun with live music, street entertainment, family fun and a fantastic fireworks finale.
