Gwynedd
Gwynedd is in North/West Wales and has encompassed various boundary areas throughout history.Caernarvon, the administrative center, is where the Prince of Wales is invested and Bangor is an educational center with a university. Gwynedd has many attractions, historic sites and natural beauty to offer. You can even visit the unique village of Portmeirion; made famous in the television series in the 60's The Prisoner.

For the visitor, the experience is unique. Clough Williams-Ellis built Portmeirion from 1925 to 1975 on his own private peninsula on the coast of Snowdonia. His lifelong concern was with architecture, landscape design, the protection of rural Wales and conservation generally; he strove at Portmeirion to give his ideas physical expression. All the cottages in the village are let as part of the Portmeirion Hotel and the village also has several shops and restaurants and is surrounded by the Gwyllt sub-tropical gardens and woodlands and miles of sandy beaches.
