Built on the flood plain of the River Lagan, Belfast's neightbouring mountains create a micro-climate which allows its beutiful parrks and gardens to flourish with ann manner of flora and fauna. Why not see for yourself and visit the Victorian Botanic Gardens or Cave Hill Country Park. Also of interest is the Giant's Ring, a 5,000-year-old henge in the city.
