St Ives Brochure

Situated on the edge of the Celtic Sea, St Ives once made its living from being a fishing village but nowadays is a centre for arts and culture, as well as its beautiful coastline.

In later times the coastline that once provided safe harbour for fishermen inspired painters, most notably those belonging to the school of British Modernism. Their legacy is best explored at the Tate St Ives before you venture forth inseach of  small shops, cafes, galleries and pubs hidden awaydown cobbled streets. A warm and welcoming destination, St Ives is also known for its beautiful weather and warm microclimate.
